Auspicious Script Taoist Open Ring

Small rectangular inscription panels form a sequence along the slim band. A gap separates the two terminal panels.

Sold individually.

Look first at the main motif of the auspicious script open ring. Its place in the Daojing collection reflects the use of ornament and inscription to carry a personal intention. Choose the particular design that speaks to the occasion, rather than assuming every motif has the same devotional use.

Compare the inside diameter with a ring that fits the same finger. The width of the band affects how it feels. An open-looking band is not evidence that it can safely be bent to any size.

The supplier lists 925 silver for this design.
