Eight-Sided Yin-Yang Blessing Taoist Plaque

The light and dark curves of the center are picked out against a brown ground. A circular inscription and small crescent appear on the companion face.

Sold individually.

The yin and yang design draws attention to the relationship between complementary forces. In a gift, it can express a wish for balance and harmony, whether the piece is intended for personal wear or for the home.

For display, decide which face you want to read from a little distance. Deep relief and narrow incised lines catch side light differently; leave room around the outline rather than pressing the face against another object.

For measurements or material details not listed here, ask about this exact piece before ordering. A photograph can show color and surface detail but cannot establish composition or scale.
