Five Paths Calligraphy Taoist Plaque

A single tall inscription fills one side; the other has several small figure motifs. Fine corner marks keep both designs inside the dark rectangular border.

Sold individually.

The Five Paths motif expresses a prosperity wish. Here it identifies the theme of the design, not a promise about the owner’s finances.

The Five Paths theme is associated with welcoming prosperity from different directions. It is a fitting inscription for a shop opening or a household gift when the intention is abundance and a flourishing livelihood.

For display, decide which face you want to read from a little distance. Deep relief and narrow incised lines catch side light differently; leave room around the outline rather than pressing the face against another object.
