Taoist Folding Fan Dangle Earring

A fan-shaped charm hangs from a small hoop. Fine ribs divide its pale surface beneath a line of red writing.

Sold individually.

Look first at the main motif of the folding fan dangle earring. Its place in the Daojing collection reflects the use of ornament and inscription to carry a personal intention. Choose the particular design that speaks to the occasion, rather than assuming every motif has the same devotional use.

When choosing earrings, compare the length of the ornament as well as the fastening shown in the views. A close-up is not a scale reference. Check the component that touches the ear if metal composition matters to you.
