Gongming and Five Paths Blue Taoist Scroll

An outlined figure appears below a descending line of gold-colored characters. A yellow mount borders the deep blue panel.

Dimensions: 145 × 45 cm.

Sold individually.

The Five Paths motif expresses a prosperity wish. Here it identifies the theme of the design, not a promise about the owner’s finances.

Zhao Gongming is honored in traditions of prosperity. A piece bearing his name can express a wish for a flourishing livelihood, particularly as a gift for someone opening a business or beginning a new venture.

Before choosing a wall, measure the available space from the hanging point down. Allow breathing room on both sides of the painted field. Hanging hardware and the overall mounted size should not be inferred from the painted dimensions.
