Good Fortune Blue Inscription Taoist Scroll

Fine lettering fills a deep blue rectangle. An emblem and larger central characters interrupt the regular rows of gold-colored marks.

Dimensions: 170 × 70 cm.

Sold individually.

Look first at the main motif of the good fortune blue inscription scroll. Its place in the Daojing collection reflects the use of ornament and inscription to carry a personal intention. Choose the particular design that speaks to the occasion, rather than assuming every motif has the same devotional use.

Before choosing a wall, measure the available space from the hanging point down. Allow breathing room on both sides of the painted field. Hanging hardware and the overall mounted size should not be inferred from the painted dimensions.
