Gourd and Five Paths Blue Taoist Scroll

A long column of gold-colored characters contrasts with the blue ground. Smaller figures and marks flank the center on both sides.

Dimensions: 145 × 45 cm.

Sold individually.

The Five Paths motif expresses a prosperity wish. Here it identifies the theme of the design, not a promise about the owner’s finances.

The Five Thunders name evokes thunder command in Taoist ritual imagery. A devotee may choose this motif for protection or as a guardian emblem for the home. The inscription and its layout distinguish one rendition from another.

Before choosing a wall, measure the available space from the hanging point down. Allow breathing room on both sides of the painted field. Hanging hardware and the overall mounted size should not be inferred from the painted dimensions.
