Pixiu Coin Taoist Medallion Pendant

A modeled creature sits above a round coin-like disc. Fine inscriptions gather around the central square motif.

Look first at the main motif of the pixiu coin medallion pendant. Its place in the Daojing collection reflects the use of ornament and inscription to carry a personal intention. Choose the particular design that speaks to the occasion, rather than assuming every motif has the same devotional use.

Think about where the pendant will fall when worn. The length of a pendant and the length of its cord are different measurements. If you intend to use your own chain, compare the fitting with its clasp before choosing.

The supplier lists brass for this design.
