Pixiu Prosperity-Motif Taoist Plaque

A small creature is carved in relief on the dark face. Red script on the reverse introduces the traditional prosperity theme without promising an outcome.

Sold individually.

Prosperity is the intention behind this design. As a gift it can mark the opening of a shop, a change of work or a wish for family abundance. Choose the motif for the occasion and the person receiving it.

For display, decide which face you want to read from a little distance. Deep relief and narrow incised lines catch side light differently; leave room around the outline rather than pressing the face against another object.

For measurements or material details not listed here, ask about this exact piece before ordering. A photograph can show color and surface detail but cannot establish composition or scale.
