Round Bagua Coin-Style Taoist Charm

$239.00 USD

A dark circular rim surrounds a yin-yang center and concentric rows of lines. The other face has denser lettering around a square coin-style center.

Sold individually.

Bagua refers to the eight trigrams. Look for arrangements of three-line signs; these are a different motif from the paired curves of a yin-yang disk.

The eight trigrams are arrangements of broken and unbroken lines. In a Taoist setting, the bagua can be chosen as a protective emblem for a household; the arrangement of the lines also gives the design its distinctive rhythm.

Think about where the charm will hang and which way its design will face. A loop intended for a cord is not necessarily large enough for a clasp or a key ring; check the opening before choosing an attachment.
