Wenchang and Bagua Taoist Plaque

The first design is densely worked, with a pale inscription spreading across the dark face. The companion design centers a yin-yang circle among eight groups of lines.

Sold individually.

The Wenchang theme expresses a wish for learning. It gives the design a specific meaning as a study gift without promising an exam result.

Wenchang is associated with learning and literary achievement. This makes the design a thoughtful choice for a study desk or a gift at the beginning of a course, with a wish for concentration and success in study.

For display, decide which face you want to read from a little distance. Deep relief and narrow incised lines catch side light differently; leave room around the outline rather than pressing the face against another object.
