Zhao Gongming Figure Taoist Plaque

A figured relief fills one face from edge to edge. The companion view has a large inscription inside a raised scrolling border.

Sold individually.

Zhao Gongming is honored in traditions of prosperity. A piece bearing his name can express a wish for a flourishing livelihood, particularly as a gift for someone opening a business or beginning a new venture.

For display, decide which face you want to read from a little distance. Deep relief and narrow incised lines catch side light differently; leave room around the outline rather than pressing the face against another object.

For measurements or material details not listed here, ask about this exact piece before ordering. A photograph can show color and surface detail but cannot establish composition or scale.
