Cypress

Cypress is a common wood name used across several related trees. Species, growth conditions and the part of the timber used affect the appearance and scent of jewelry beads. Pale to warm brown tones, visible grain and a wood-like tactile quality offer an alternative to cold, highly polished stone. Natural knots and color variation may be part of the individual design.

Check the actual wood description, finish and dimensions. A scent or figured grain pattern cannot independently prove a claimed age, mountain origin or rare botanical identity.

Care notes

Keep dry and away from strong cleaners, perfume and direct heat. A soft cloth is preferable to soaking. Avoid adding scented oils, which can change the surface and obscure the material's own character.
